3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat - Zermatt

3100 Kulmhotel, located in Gornergrat, is the highest hotel in the Swiss Alps and the mountain base camp of a high mountain range. It offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi.

All of the rooms feature a cable TV with international channels, a work desk and a hair dryer and offer mountain views.

The restaurant saycheese! Gornergrat serves world-famous classic Swiss dishes with local cheeses, while the Glacier Alpine Kitchen serves our guests classic Swiss cuisine.

Gornergrat offers a variety of snow sports including skiing with ski-to-door access, snow boarding and hiking. The hotel also offers a packed lunch service forguests.

This secluded hotel features its own planetarium, a library and a shopping centre and offers stunning views of 29 four-thousend-metre peaks of the Alps.

The viewing platform of Gornergrat and the areas around the hotel are only reachable by a regular train service, which takes 40 minutes’ through scenic countryside, from car-free Zermatt.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Please note that Zermatt is car-free. Guests can only drive as far as Täsch and then reach Zermatt by train. The station of the Gornergrat Mountain Railway is right next to the train station.

Please note that the hotel can only be reached by railway. The last train leaves Zermatt at 18:00 (there is a later train in high season - please consult timetables).
